Caribbean Rum Punch Recipe
The history of the rum punch is probably as long as the list of its variations out there. It is a refreshing, but strong, summer drink. As a rum lover I always liked the punch variation you get in tiki bars. But with the real Caribbean rum punch, I only got introduced on my very first trip to Barbados.
This drink is like the sun in a glass. And it even helped me over the rainy days I experienced on the island. It’s the perfect drink for your home bar and garden party. Easy to mix and you can prepare it in large batches if needed.
There are so many variations to try, you will never get bored and just in case you run out of any of the ingredients, you can just adjust the recipe and you should be fine. Well, except it’s gonna be the rum, that maybe won’t be fun…

This is the original recipe but I found it actually too sweet for me, so I only use 1 part simple syrup but add some white rum.
All you have to do now is close your eyes and imagine you are sitting at Sandy Lane Beach Gin-Gin!
